Hundreds of students of Chung Hwa Middle School in Bandar Seri Begawan celebrated Children's Day yesterday with an array of performances and games.

Mr Wee Meng Han of the Board of Director of Chung Hwa Middle School told the students that they hold the future and aspirations of the country.

He added, "I believe that all the students in the school will blossom to become successful persons."

In a surprise appearence, Wu Chun, the popular local singer who is now an international star, celebrated the event with the children. Wu Chun was giving a tour of his former primary school to a Taiwanese programme.
